Adoption is one of the way makes everyone smile at Animal Services.
The small fee charged for the adoption of each animal goes toward the support and care of all of our animals. Each adopted pet is spayed or neutered and given the appropriate shots.
“Animal Shelters“ adoption program is open to anyone wishing to adopt a pet.
When you come to adopt a pet, please make certain that you have a photo ID and, if under 18 years of age, you are accompanied by an adult. A thorough background check is performed to make certain that there are no offenses related to animal cruelty. We do our best to make certain that the homes our pets are going to are going to be safe, secure and loving.
Competitive adoption fee will be charged. The fee includes:
- First series of vaccinations, including rabies shot
- Microchip with lifetime registry
- A spayed or neutered pet
- Animal license, as required by Baltimore County law
- Welcome home kit

When you adopt a pet, you think that you are saving the animal when, in reality, the animal is saving you. You and your life will be forever affected by the love you receive from this animal.
The animals that come into our care are often frightened and unkempt. We give them love and care and feed and groom them while they are waiting for their “forever” home.
