Shelter For Cats

Shelter for catsAnimal Shelters” is a safe, temporary home for stray and abandoned cats where they are safe and given  treatment for injuries or health issues and are placed into loving homes with compatible owners.

We shelter the stray cats and give them the appropriate medical attention while we look for their permanent homes.

We do our best to take as many cats as possible – to prevent them from being euthanized or abandoned when their current families are experiencing financial hardship or other life challenges.

We involve the community as much as possible by educating everyone on the importance of responsible pet ownership.

We also offer other services like:

* Animal Shelters

* Shelters for dogs

* Shelter for puppies

* Rescue group Services

* Pet Adoption Services

We also offer advice on affordable spay/neuter options in our area.

Our volunteers are here for you, seven days a week from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. While here, the staff and volunteers are busy caring for our cats. When you make an appointment, we will make certainthat someone available to care for your needs.

What Makes Us Different from Other Shelters?

  • Cageless, no-kill shelter has cared for and nurtured homeless cats in preparation for healthy, loving, permanent new homes
  • Our cats roam freely within our facility and able to play, exercise, and socialize with other cats
  • Approximately 75% of the hundreds of cats we help each year are rescued from homelessness, hoarders, and abandonment
  • We do not euthanize cats in order to make room for more homeless cats
  • We have designated housing areas for adoptable cats with FIV and other special needs
  • We use every available human and financial resource to care for sick cats
  • Staff and volunteers work tirelessly to socialize and prepare every cat for a permanent home
  • A smooth adoption transition to your home

We are happy to arrange shelter tours and group volunteer’s opportunities for school, community and other organizations.

In addition to meeting the cats and learning about the Shelter, we will cater your visit to your group’s interests and needs. Many groups kindly contribute cat food, money, supplies, and their time.

Every effort is made to give all of our animals the best and most appropriate care and treatment – as well as love and attention – while we do our best to locate their permanent families.
