Each animal has its own, distinct personality. “Animal Shelters” treats each dog as an individual and as if it were our own pet. We do everything in our power to make sure that they are matched with the perfect family when they are adopted. Each dog is properly vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and tested for heartworm.
Along with Shelters for dogs, we also offer:
* Animal Shelters
* Shelters for cats
* Shelter for puppies
* Rescue group Services
* Pet Adoption Services
We strive to ease any suffering of abandoned or abused dogs of any breed, age or size. Overpopulation is the primary reason for animal suffering – All animals in our care are spayed or neutered. Health, cleanliness, and exercise are key components to all of our rescues; we will provide a clean environment, with daily exercise, healthy diet, and the best healthcare our resources can provide, while an animal is in our care.
We are dedicated to:
- Treating each dog as an individual with a unique personality and behavioral needs
- Developing valid methods to evaluate dog behavior
- Discovering ways to measure and reduce stress affecting shelter dogs
- Developing improved strategies for matching dogs with prospective adopters
- Serving as a resource for other shelters, organizations, and individuals by providing research based information, tools consultations, and outreach opportunities
We ensure that the pets we adopt out are properly licensed and that the families they go to are loving and kind – background checks and home visits are performed. We care for lost animals until they are able to be reunited with their families.
We promote kindness to Animals and work to reunite any lost pet with their family.
We also perform any necessary veterinary treatment and special care for injured, sick and vulnerable animals. Our dedicated team cares for these animals on a daily basis and our volunteers help with dog walking, cat cuddling, fundraising and more.
