Dietary Counseling

Dietary CounselingWe offer private counseling for our clients and patients in a classroom, hospital, or other clinical setting. “Dietitian” will provide you with the guidance of a Registered Dietitian (RD) to assist you in meeting your nutritional needs.

You will meet with a dietitian for one on one instruction and counseling regarding necessary lifestyle changes associated with food. Your dietitian will aid you in managing your nutrition related conditions, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease through medical nutrition therapy.

Our dietitians provide a wide range of counseling services including:

  • Heart health
  • Weight management
  • Nutrition from pediatric to older adult care
  • Chronic disease eg. Pre-diabetes, diabetes, kidney, cancer, osteoporosis
  • Eating disorders and disordered eating
  • GI issues including IBS, IBD, celiac disease, and food intolerances

We provide vital information and consultation to aid you in treating and preventing nutrition related diseases. Our focus is on your specific needs to maintain your health and wellbeing.  We help you manage your nutrition for a variety of reasons, whether you want to lose weight or better control your diabetes.

The programs we design are created by Registered dietitians who are specially trained to provide medical nutrition therapy with the aim of helping individuals manage chronic conditions, promote health and prevent illness.

Generally, initial consultations are scheduled for one hour, with follow-up sessions scheduled as needed.
