Sports Injury Treatment

Slider_sports-injury-treatmentThe term “sports injury,” in the broadest sense, refers to the kinds of injuries that most commonly occur during sports or exercise. Some sports injuries result from accidents; others are due to poor training practices, improper equipment, lack of conditioning, or insufficient warm-up and stretching.

 Some sports injuries will appear to go away on their own only to come back at a later time, sometimes even years later. Any area of the body can be injured during sports or exercise, however, they usually involve the ligaments and tendons, bones or muscles. Some of the most common sports injuries are sprains and strains, knee injuries, fractures, dislocations, compartment syndrome, and shin splints.

 We treat:

* Ankle sprain

* Groin pull

* Hamstring strain

* Shin splints

* Knee injury: ACL tear

* Knee injury: Patellofemoral syndrome — injury resulting from the repetitive movement of your kneecap against your thigh bone

* Tennis elbow (epicondylitis)

 Our clinic will offer dedicated rehabilitation facilities, private consultation rooms and our usual expert staff. We will assess how bad the injury is by locating the signs and symptoms displayed by the individual. Treatment for injuries differs according to the type of damage.

We at the clinic are focused on using chiropractic care, massage therapy, and acupuncture to treat and restore our patients to pre-injury condition in a small amount of time.

We do this by identifying the problem at hand and then treating it using numerous soft tissue therapies, joint manipulation, and rehabilitative exercise programs, all in order to return the patient to optimal heath in a timely fashion.

Our patients range from the elite athletes, Olympic and amateur level athletes, to everyday individuals from infants to seniors. We pride ourselves on treating not only structural mal-alignments but also the soft tissues that attach to the structure as well as give the patient the proper exercise/stretching programs so that the condition is less likely to reoccur.

We aim to provide an affordable private service for the prompt diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of all muscular and skeletal conditions and sports injuries.
